GLOBE, Az. -- Police in Arizona say they have found the body of a Native American girl that has been missing since January.
The Gila County Sheriff’s Office said they found the body of 14-year-old Emily Pike who was last seen on January 27th.
Deputies say the scene was extremely disturbing as they found the body in the woods off U.S. 60 in Globe, Arizona. The body had been dismembered as they found the head and torso in large contractor bags and the girl’s legs in separate bags.
They have not found her arms or hands, they said.
The preliminary autopsy results found the girl had visible face and head trauma.
A healthy Clay County requires great community news.
