Smith attempts to flee from officers

Clay County Sheriff, Patrick Robinson, reports that on 02/12/2025 Deputy Dustin Henson responded to a call into Clay County Dispatch in reference to a warrant service on Tracy Smith and that he was located at south Marathon gas station. Upon Deputy Hensons arrival Smith began to flee behind Dairy Queen restaurant and attempted to hide in the bush's directly behind the restaurant; where he was located lying down. Deputy Henson was able to place Smith into custody with no further incident.

Tracy Smith, 47, of Manchester was arrested for:

-FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT)

-CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANC TO ORDER
