Zachary Tyler Mathis

Zachary Tyler Mathis was born on February 16, 2002 in London, Kentucky. He was the son of Charles Freddy Mathis of Manchester, Kentucky and Tasha Rae Gross Whitehill of London. He is also survived by two sisters, Kaitlyn McKenzie Mathis (James Harrison) and Starr Lashae Mathis both of Manchester; grandparents, Ruby Gross of London; Sudie Mathis of Manchester plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He is also preceded in death by two grandparents, William Gross and Dennis “Flop” Mathis.

He was a telemarketer with NRA and of the Christian Faith.

Zachary Tyler Mathis departed this life on Sunday, September 3, 2023 being 21 years, 6 months and 18 days of age.

The funeral service for Zachary Tyler Mathis will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Joseph Messer and David Frymyer officiating. Burial will follow in A.R. Dyche Memorial Park.

The family of Zachary Tyler Mathis will receive friends beginning at 1 PM Wednesday at Bowling Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Brent Eldridge, James Harrison, Noah Wood, Alex Garret, Brody Williams, Brandon Baker, Dalton Burkhart and Darren Mathis.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Bowling Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
