ONEIDA, Ky. — Get ready for two days of spooktacular fun as Oneida Outdoors presents Backstreet Halloween at the Backstreet Campground, 120 Mill Street, Oneida, on October 24 and 25. This family-friendly celebration will feature everything from creative contests to a chilling haunted trail, making it one of the region’s must-attend Halloween events.
The festivities begin Friday night at 7 p.m. with karaoke under the stars, setting the stage for a weekend filled with laughter, costumes, and community spirit.
Saturday’s lineup is packed with activities for all ages. The afternoon kicks off with rock painting and a best costume contest, along with awards for the best decorated camper, pet, and side-by-side (SXS) from 4–5 p.m. Then, from 5–6 p.m., pumpkin artists can show off their skills in the Pumpkin Decorating Contest.
Families can grab their candy buckets for Trick-or-Treating from 6–8 p.m., followed by the night’s grand finale — a Haunted Trail from 8–10 p.m., where brave souls can test their courage on a ghostly adventure through the woods.
Organizers say everyone is welcome, whether you’re a camper, a costume lover, or just someone who enjoys Halloween fun.
So grab your costumes, bring your friends, and join the fun at Backstreet Campground — where spooky meets spectacular in the heart of Oneida!
