MANCHESTER, Ky. — The Christmas spirit will take over downtown Manchester on Saturday, December 13, 2025, when the streets transform into “Whoville” for an afternoon of family fun, food, and festive cheer.
The holiday celebration will run from 2:30 to 5 p.m., featuring Santa, the Grinch, inflatables, food vendors, and kid-friendly activities designed to bring the community together in the heart of town. The event will be followed by the Manchester Christmas Parade at 5:30 p.m., a long-standing holiday tradition that draws crowds from across Clay County.
Visitors can enjoy free hot chocolate courtesy of First National Bank of Manchester, and the downtown area will be filled with decorations, music, and opportunities for children to meet Santa and the Grinch in a setting straight out of Dr. Seuss’s classic Christmas tale.
The event is organized by the Manchester Tourism Commission, which continues to expand its lineup of downtown festivals and community gatherings.
“We want families to come out, enjoy the lights, the parade, and the sense of community that makes Manchester special,” said Tourism Director Tim Parks, who is coordinating the event. “It’s always amazing to see downtown come alive for Christmas.”
Those interested in setting up a vendor booth can contact Parks at (606) 594-6074 or reach the Manchester Tourism Office at (606) 391-6161.
