The Walls Come Tumbling Down

UPDATE: The Enterprise reached out to Clay Judge-Executive Tommy Harmon about the possibility of replacing the Webb Hotel mural. Judge Harmon said nobody had contacted him about it, but felt that is something that could happen by the fiscal court if desired.
"Nobody has mentioned another mural to me but I don't see why we couldn't consider doing that," he said. "We would have to wait until we are done renovating the other building and then it could be a possibility."

Demolition is underway in downtown Manchester Tuesday morning next to the 911 center. Construction crews are demolishing a building recently purchased by the county. The fiscal court recently purchased the building and the adjoining building for storage. It was determined the building was beyond renovation due to costs. Future plans may include a greenspace on the lot. The adjoining building will be renovated and used for storage.
