Cross Drain Operations Begin Monday, June 2 on KY 638 in Clay County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists KY 638 at mile point 3.20, approximately 0.25 miles west of the junction with KY 472 in Clay County, will be closed starting at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3 and will re-open Friday June 6 at 7 p.m. 

The closure is required due to cross drain operations.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect significant delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
