Barbara Sue Brown, age 79 of Somerset, Kentucky formally of Knott County, passed away on Wednesday May 28, 2025, at Advent Health Manchester in Manchester, KY. She was born on June 9, 1945, in Lackey, Kentucky to the late Joe and Lousinda Stamper Brown.

Barbara is survived by her Brother: Andy (Edna) Brown; A Host of Beloved Nieces, Nephews, Family & Special Friends

Barbara is preceded in passing by her Parents: Joe and Lousinda Stamper Brown

Brothers: Sherman Brown and Ancil Brown; Sister: Betty Ramey

The family will receive friends Friday May 30, 2025, from 6PM-9PM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman, KY with service at 7PM.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday May 31, 2025, at 1PM at the Ball Branch Old Regular Baptist Church in Mousie, Ky with Roger Hicks and Theodore Slone officiating. Burial will follow at the Mountain Memory Gardens in Hindman, KY. Barbara will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
