EF4 Tornado struck Pulaski, Laurel counties Friday

The National Weather Service has concluded that the London, KY tornado was on the ground for 56 miles, was almost 1 mile wide, and was an EF-4 with winds of 170mph.
Most tornadoes remain on the ground for only up to 10 minutes and are only about a football field (100 yards) wide.
This is the worst tornado to strike this area in history.
