Florida Woman Accused of Killing Dog at Orlando Airport Released on Bond
March 21, 2025

Orlando, Fla. — A Florida woman accused of drowning her dog and leaving its body in a restroom at Orlando International Airport has been released on bond.
Alison Lawrence was arrested earlier this week after authorities linked her to the December incident. Investigators say Lawrence killed the dog after being informed she lacked the necessary paperwork to bring the pet on her flight.
Lawrence, who faces a charge of animal cruelty, posted a $5,000 bond following her arrest.
Neighbors in her community expressed shock and concern over the allegations.
“Someone that would do such a thing would be pretty disturbed upstairs,” one resident remarked.
The case has sparked outrage among animal advocates, and authorities continue their investigation into the incident.
A healthy Clay County requires great community news.
