Edna Mechelle Hacker-Roberts

Edna Mechelle Hacker-Roberts, 54, of Manchester, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 19th, surrounded by her family that loved her and with her church family that she loved and adored.

Mechelle was born in Barbourville, KY on December 3, 1970, a daughter of Jennie Wombles Roberts and the late Otis Roberts. She was a member of the Horse Creek Holiness Church.

She is survived by her mother, Jennie Roberts of Manchester; her sisters: Crystal Swafford and husband Darrell of Manchester, and Jeanette Gaskin and husband Wayne "James" of London; and by her step-sister and step-brother: Rhonda Roberts and Dennis Roberts, both of Manchester.

Also surviving are her nieces and nephews: Seth Swafford, Kelsey Swafford, Jason Bruner, Jacob Bruner, and Kailee Bruner; and a special uncle, David "Blue" Wombles.

In addition to her father, Mechelle was preceded in death by her brother, Otis Roberts, Jr.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 22nd at Britton Funeral Home, with Terry Reed, John Wiley Sibert and Chase Whitis officiating. Burial will follow at the Swafford Family Cemetery on Upper Rader Rd.

Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, March 21st at Britton Funeral Home.
