Lonnie Hampton

Lonnie Hampton, 76 passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born on Sunday, December 5, 1948 in Manchester, Kentucky to Fount and Zola Sawyers Hampton.

He is survived by his brothers: Charles Glenn Hampton, Donny Hampton and Ford Hampton and his wife Mary Ann and his sister: Sandra Hampton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Fount and Zola Hampton and his sister-in-law: Lovella.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

A Graveside Service for Lonnie Hampton will be conducted on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 2 PM at the Manchester Memorial Gardens. Rev. Roger Hayre will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
