Two charged after 14-year-old dies from injuries

The death of a 14-year-old boy has landed two people in jail.

According to arrests citations, Billie Bolin, 37, and Jeremy Ridner, 44, says McCreary County deputies responded to their home off West Highway 92 on a call about an unresponsive 14-year-old.

The child was taken to Wayne County Hospital where he died.

Both Bolin and Ridner admitted knowledge of the injuries and didn’t seek medical attention for him.

Both have been charged with criminal abuse and a grand jury will be reviewing the case.
