Teen takes 'a bunch' of edibles, calls 911, then shoots mom, sister multiple times

HOUSTON, Texas – Police in Houstan say a 15-year-old boy shot his mother and sister multiple times after ingesting a large amount of marijuana.

Authorities report the teenager called 911 saying he was either going to kill someone or kill himself.

Firefighters found the teenager in the parking lot with a gun.  They say the teen pointed the gun at them and said he had just killed someone.  He then threw the gun at them and ran off.  Police chased the teen down and took him into custody.

When officers arrived at his home they found his mother and 17-year-old sister with multiple gunshot wounds.  They were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Another sister, a 16-year-old, was also in the home but unharmed.

Police say the suspect had a “bad reaction” after eating “a bunch of edibles.”
