Vickie Hopper Ledford was born August 29, 1951 in Clay County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Gilbert Hopper and Martha Lorene Hicks Hopper. She was united in marriage on May 9, 1970 to Paul Ledford who survives of London, Kentucky. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Ledford of North Carolina; granddaughter, Everly Reese Ledford of North Carolina; one brother, Wayne Hopper and wife Anne of London, Kentucky; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son, Brent Casey Ledford; two siblings, Terry Hopper and Brenda Hopper.
She retired after 32 years of service from American Greeting and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Vickie Hopper Ledford departed this life Thursday, December 14, 2023 being 72 years, 3 months, and 16 days of age.
The funeral services for Vickie Hopper Ledford will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with David Smith, Terry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky.
The family of Vickie Hopper Ledford will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m.
