MANCHESTER, Ky. – Clay County Tiger Golf has capped off yet another strong season, bringing home the 2025 Southeast Kentucky Golf Conference Championship for both the tournament, and regular season. Maxton Gray performed extremely well, winning the Conference Tournament with a low score of 75.
Jack Finley finished 3rd overall, followed by fellow Tiger Charlie Lucas who finished fourth. These Tigers were all awarded first team all-conference for their efforts. Talan Marcum made third team, and Alex Gray was named honorable mention. The Tigers posted a team score of 319 in the tournament win, led by Maxton’s 75. Jack Finley 49, Charlie Lucas 81, Talan Marcum 84, and Alex Gray 88.
The JV Tigers had several kids place in the top ten during the Pine Mountain JV Conference Tournament at Wasioto Winds in Pineville. Kyran Barnes placed 2nd, Jayce Hibbard 5th, Easton Ealy 6th, Brantley Dezarn 10th. “This entire group has gained some valuable experience,” said Coach Jason Smith. “I’m really looking forward to what they do for Tiger Golf in the years to come.”
