Theresa “Teri” Ann Garrett, aged 58, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at AdventHealth Manchester in Manchester, KY. She was born on June 16, 1967, in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Wanda Sue (Hacker) Burns. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of Church of God Worship Center.
She is preceded in death by her brother Tony Hacker; grandparents Freida and Cecil Hacker, and Fred and Myrtle Burns; and niece Madison Burns.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Danielle Garrett of Manchester, KY; granddaughter Haven Garrett; brother Freddie Joe and wife Kathy (Dearner) Burns of London, KY; stepfather Freddie Wayne Burns of Oneida, KY; nephew Takoda and wife Brianna (Helton) Hacker; nieces Machenzie (Burns) Bowling and husband John Tyler, Emily Hacker, and Mikayla Burns; and a great-niece, Cassie Bowling; plus, a host of family and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Teri A. Garrett will be conducted on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Church of God Worship Center in Manchester, KY, with Bro. Brad Stevens and Bro. Joey Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Manchester Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends. The family of Teri A. Garrett will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
