Ruth Ann Sizemore, 67, of Manchester, Kentucky, departed this life at her home on May 12, 2026. Born on June 27, 1959, in Manchester, Ruth Ann was the daughter of the late Barrett and Delora Ross Sizemore.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. For around eight years, she worked as a CNA at Laurel Creek Nursing Home, where she was well-loved by those she cared for and by her coworkers. Above all, Ruth Ann treasured her family, and her grandchildren were among her greatest joys and proudest accomplishments.
She leaves behind her children, Tracy Sizemore and Stacy Sizemore, both of Manchester; her cherished grandchildren, Kennedy Sawyers, Arraya Sawyers, Parker Sawyers, Hunter Henson, and Xavier Roark; her siblings, James Sizemore, Charles Sizemore, Hubert Sizemore, and Linda Sizemore, all of Manchester, and Doris Hornsby of Ohio; as well as a host of other family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Arnold Sizemore, Eugene Sizemore, Ivan Sizemore, Kenneth Ray Sizemore, and Ralph Sizemore.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Britton Funeral Home, with Golden Smith, Jr. officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at the Sizemore and Smith Cemetery on Big Creek.
Ruth Ann will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the care she showed to others, and the lasting mark she left on all who knew her.
