Ronnie Carpenter, 72, of Manchester, KY, passed away Thursday, August 28th, at the AdventHealth Manchester Hospital.
Ronnie was born in Manchester, KY on May 4, 1953, a son of the late Noah and Ada Smith Carpenter. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Diane Abner Carpenter; and his children: Ronald C. Carpenter, and Kimberly Renee Carpenter Hicks and husband James, all of Manchester.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Darian Carpenter, Zachary Hicks, Abigail Carpenter, and Alison Carpenter; and his great-grandchildren: Maverick Lee Hicks, Remington Clyde Carpenter, and Ramsey Colt Carpenter.
Also surviving are his brothers and sister: Otis Carpenter, Oder Carpenter, Carl Wayne Carpenter, and Gwendolyn Harris.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by these brothers and sisters: Paul Carpenter, Noah Carpenter, Jr., Jessie Mae Harper, and Martha Faye Hudson.
Services were held on Saturday, August 30th at Britton Funeral Home, with Scotty Sumner and Joe Crockett officiating. Burial followed at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Britton Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
