Rev. George Estep age, 77, of Manchester, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, June 29, 2026, in London, Kentucky.
Rev. George Estep was born on September 24, 1948, in Manchester, Kentucky to the late John Patrick Estep and Arabel Henson Estep.
George was a devoted Christian and a faithful member of the Holiness Faith. He dedicated his life to serving the Lord, loving his family, and helping those around him. He found joy in the simple blessings of life through hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending precious time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering faith, and the love he shared with everyone who know him.
In addition to his parents, John Patrick and Arabel Estep, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois Estep; a daughter, Elizabeth Estep, his precious grandchild, Damon Skyler Estep, his brother, Carl Estep, his sister, Laddie Jayne Bowling, his brother, Bob Estep and sister-in-law, Joyce Estep. And his stepfather, Stanley Bowling.
He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory: his children, Penny Lunsford (John), Hiram Estep (fiancée Michelle Lunsford), William Estep (Shelia), Patricia Lunsford (fiancé Tim Bowels), George Estep Jr. (Samantha), Kendra Estep (Calvin Jones), and Harmony Philpot. He was the proud grandfather of 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, each of whom brought immeasurable love to his life. He is also survived by three brother, two sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
Funeral services for Rev. George Estep will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 2:00 P.M at the Hector Holiness Church in Manchester, Kentucky. Rev. James Wagers and Rev. Paul Mitchell will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith-Sizemore Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 3, 2026, starting at 6:00 P.M., and Saturday, July 4, 2026.
