Linda Faye Smallwood, 70, of Manchester, Kentucky, departed this life Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at AdventHealth Manchester. She was of the Holiness faith.
Linda was born November 28, 1955, in Redbird, Kentucky, to the late Warren and Mary Ann Smith Wagers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Marsha Smallwood and Tabitha Smallwood; two brothers, Darrell Wagers and Kenny Wagers; and two brothers-in-law, Robert Smallwood and Ricky Smith.
Linda left behind her husband of more than 50 years, James Smallwood; two children, Tina Smith and husband Bobby, and Amanda Smallwood and special friend Misty; three grandchildren, Nathan Smith and Kaitlyn, Chandler Smith and McKenzie Holland, and Jayden Smith; and a loyal family friend of more than 25 years, Charlotte Jones.
She was also survived by one brother, Warren Jr. Wagers and Joyce; nine sisters, Elaine Johnson and Darrell, Lisa Campbell, Kathy Smith, Glenda Smallwood, Sandra Brock, Loretta Barrett, Sue and Kaleb Collett, Tammy Hubbard and Brenda Wagers; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who mourned her passing.
Funeral services for Linda Faye Smallwood were held Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at noon at the Barbourville Funeral Home Manchester Chapel, with Brother Ryan Smith officiating. Interment followed in the Penn Smallwood Cemetery.
The family received friends Tuesday, August 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Barbourville Funeral Home Manchester Chapel.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
