Josephine Smith, 80, of Manchester, KY, passed away Sunday, October 5th, at her home.
Josephine was born in Manchester, KY on November 6, 1944, a daughter of the late Bill and Georgie Gray Henson. She loved her family, going to church, and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Smith.
Josephine is survived by her children: Don (Melissa) Smith of Manchester, Stanley Smith, Jr. of Manchester, Jerome Smith of White Oak, and Lisa (Loyd) England of Corbin.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Danielle (Billy) Smith and Nicholas (Markitaa) Jones; and her great-grandchildren: Jayden Smith, Bentley Smith, Jayce Smith, Taylin Jones, Hunter Jones, and Weston Jones.
Also surviving are her brothers and sister: Bill Henson, Robin (Asonia) Henson, Bobby Joe (Loretta) Henson, and Loretta Gilbert, all of Manchester.
In addition to her husband and parents, Josephine was preceded in death by the following brothers and sister: Charlie Henson, Baxter Henson, Henry Henson, and Geneva Henson.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 8th at Britton Funeral Home, with Jessie Henson and George Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at the Beech Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 7th at Britton Funeral Home.
