Johnie W Byrd, 62, of Corbin, KY passed away on Sunday, January 11, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin.
Johnie was born in Cincinnati, OH, on November 10th, 1963, a son of the late Ambrose and Model Baker Byrd.
Johnie is survived by his uncle, Wallace and wife Janie Allen.
He is also survived by his caregivers who he thought of as his family, Rhonda and husband Jonathon Lyliston, Sonny, Calvin, Kinsley, Kayla and husband Sam, Cayden, Alexis, Addy, Houston, Effie, and Garrett. Garrett Jr, Jenny,Annie, Tilda Mae, April, & Lola Mae. As well as his special friends, Ms. Ellen, Debbie, & Eddie; Also by his case manager who became part of his family, Heather and his ADT Instructor Lisa & all staff. Several other friends and family to mourn his passing.
Johnie also leaves behind his pets to which he loved dearly, Dean, Princess, and Maci Mae.
In addition to his parents, Johnie is preceded in death by his brother, Leon Byrd. As well as his grandparents, Lizzie and Elbert Allen and Johnny and Gracie Baker.
Services for Johnie will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, January 14th, at Britton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lower Sadler Cemetery in Oneida.
Visitation for Johnie will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 14th, at Britton Funeral Home.
