Jeffery Lynn Smith, age 57, of Manchester, Kentucky, passed away on July 9, 2026, at AdventHealth Manchester.
Jeffery was born on November 14, 1968, in Beverly, Kentucky, to the late Robert Smith and Zelma Lee Jackson Smith. He was self-employed as a carpenter and was known for his hard work and willingness to help others.
He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte Smallwood Smith; one son, Jeff Cameron Smith of Bright Shade; one daughter, Kristen Brooke Smith of Bright Shade; two brothers, Johnny Smith of Bright Shade and Willard Smith of Billy’s Branch; one sister, Linda Gail Ratliff of Manchester.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Ray Smith, and his sister, Barbara Jean Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14th, at Britton Funeral Home, with James Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 13th, at 6:00 PM at Britton Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery in Bright Shade.
