Jason Wagers, age 45, of Garrad, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026.
He leaves behind the mother of his child and best friend, Terri House; his daughter, Hannah (Jack) Wagers of London, KY; his mother, Myrtle Sizemore Wagers; Betty Baker who was like another Mom to him; his bonus sisters, Megan Morgan & Jessica Trett; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold “Jake” Wagers; his brother, Bruce Lee Wagers; and by his grandmother, Rosie Sizemore.
Jason leaves behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, and deep love for those around him.
Jason worked as a diesel mechanic, a profession he truly loved. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. Whether fixing an engine or offering advice, Jason found joy in being useful and making a difference.
He had a special place in his heart for animals and cared for them with compassion and dedication. His love for helping others extended beyond people—any creature in need could count on Jason.
Above all, Jason loved Hannah and his family. They were the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His loyalty, warmth, and generous spirit made him someone you could always count on.
Jason will be remembered for his big heart, his willingness to help anyone in need, and the love he gave so freely. He leaves behind memories that will be treasured by all who knew him.
A funeral service honoring Jason Wagers will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Baker Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the service hour, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
