Glenda Carroll Hounchell Ruth, age 81 of Manchester was born in Manchester, KY on July 22, 1942 to the late Steve and Ollie Jones Hounchell and departed this life on December 24, 2023 at her home. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and enjoyed playing with the grandchildren, working Puzzles, crocheting, and time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, her husband: Charles Ruth; a brother: Steve Hounchell; and a sister: Brenda Johnson preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving children: Michael Caudill and wife Hazel, Norma Caudill and fiancé Tim Carr, and Tracy Caudill and husband Jay all of Manchester; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a host of great-great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Glenda Ruth were conducted in the Beech Creek Cemetery on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Barry Hubbard and Rev. Michael Caudill officiating. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
