Geneva Craft, born on August 5, 1943, in Hyden, Kentucky, passed away on October 8, 2025, at AdventHealth Manchester Hospital. She was the beloved daughter of the late Edward Napier and Mary Roberts Napier, and stepdaughter of James Spears. Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Craft.
Geneva is survived by her children: Shannon Napier of Stinnett and Tabitha Swafford and husband Brandon of Manchester. She was a proud grandmother to Alexis Swafford, Kendilyn Swafford, Bristol Swafford, Shania Smith, Keshia Collins, Ashley Maggard, and Ryan Maggard, and a cherished great-grandmother to Greyson Swafford, Kylie Morgan, Avery Smith, Lilli Smith, Coulson Smith, Logan Collins, Brody Collins, and Maverick Collins.
Her surviving siblings include brothers Eugene Napier and Ralph Napier, both of Indiana; Lester Napier and James Napier, both of Hyden; and sisters Lisa Morgan and Nancy Moore, also of Hyden. Geneva was preceded in death by brothers Ricky Spears and Hurl Napier, and sisters Loma Rogers and Irene Brock.
Funeral services were held at Britton Funeral Home on Sunday, October 12, 2025. Geneva was laid to rest at the Swafford Family Cemetery on Upper Rader Rd.
Geneva will be remembered for her devotion to family and her enduring love for those closest to her. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
