Eddie Mae Carpenter was born February 2, 1943 in Clay County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Tommy Fultz and Bertha Smith Fultz. She was united in marriage to Denver Carpenter who preceded her in death. She is survived by her four children, Annette Griffin and husband David of Okeana, Ohio, Mitchell Carpenter of Jamestown, Tennessee, Michael Carpenter and wife Sharon and John Carpenter and wife Kimberly all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; six siblings, Ottis Fultz of Lily, Kentucky, Lois Eversole, Mendel Fultz, Janet Bailey, and Terry Fultz all of East Bernstadt, Ed Fultz of London, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents and husband she is also preceded in death by her four siblings, Harold Fultz, Doris Hite, Chester Fultz, and Ethel Fultz.
She was a bus driver for RTEC and a member of White Oak Baptist Church.
Eddie Mae Carpenter departed this life Tuesday, October 31, 2023 being 80 years, 8 months, and 29 years of age.
