Eddie Dean Hensley, born on August 8, 1957, in Manchester, Kentucky, passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 68. He was the beloved son of the late Henry Hensley, Nannie Mae Hensley, and Stella Hensley. Eddie was united in marriage to Grace Sizemore, who survives him in Manchester.
He is also survived by his children, Johnny Hensley and wife Debbie of Manchester, Tammy Bray of Manchester, and Evan Hensley of Florida. Eddie was a proud grandfather to Randall Hensley, Johnny Hensley, Jr., Kendall Hensley, Brandon Bray, Derek Bray, Makayla Combs, and Gracelyn Hensley. His siblings, Jimmy Hensley and wife Dovie, James Bundy, and Angie Lovins, all of Manchester and 6 great grand children to also mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his son, Eddie Dean Hensley, Jr., his grandchild, Bailey Jo Grace Hensley, his siblings, Larry Bundy, David Bundy, Eugene Bundy, Gladys Lewis, and Melissa Lewis his stepfather J.R. Bundy .
Eddie worked as a coal miner, dedicating his life to his family and his work. He enjoyed four wheeling but most of all he loved to go fishing. He would get out on his pontoon and fish all day and night. He loved his little dogs. He liked to talk with his friends. But his family meant the most to him. He will be greatly missed.
A graveside service was conducted at 2 pm on Wednesday at the Bundy Cemetery in Manchester, with Wayne House officiating.
