Dorothy Moore, 94, of Manchester, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at her home. She was born January 6, 1932, in Manchester, the daughter of Edward and Edna Bargo Senters.
In addition to her love for her family and community, Dorothy will be remembered for the steady presence she brought to those around her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Moore.
She is survived by her siblings: Shelby Senters and Edith Smallwood, both of Manchester; Ethel Asher of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Vertie Fisher of Indiana; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Senters, Frank Senters, Cecil Senters, and Charles Senters; and her sisters, Viola Spurlock, Nina Asher, Doshia Senters, and Rhoda Senters.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Lyttleton Baptist Church in Manchester, with Allen Roberts and John Boley officiating. Burial followed at Manchester Memorial Gardens.
