Donal V. Couch, age 77, of Manchester, Kentucky, passed away on March 26, 2026, in Manchester, Kentucky. He was born on May 4, 1948, in Manchester, Kentucky, to the late Robert Couch and Edith Collins Couch.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Mae (Smith) Couch; his son, Teddy Couch; and his siblings Sim Couch, Wornie Smith, George Couch, and Goldie Smith.
Donal is survived by his children: Edith Couch of McKee, Kentucky; Glenn Couch of Nicholasville, Kentucky; Susie Cress of Manchester, Kentucky, and husband Kenneth; Katie Bush (Matthew Williams) of McKee, Kentucky; Bridget Bush of Manchester, Kentucky, and husband Darrell; Betsy Johnson of Manchester, Kentucky, and husband Christopher; and Donald V. Couch Jr. (April) of McKee, Kentucky. He is also survived by more than sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
He is further survived by his siblings Elmer Couch, Bent Couch, Robert Couch, Dorothy Smith, and Orpha McKinney.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 30, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will take place Sunday, March 29, 2026, beginning at 5:00 p.m. for family and 6:00 p.m. for friends. Burial will follow in the Couch Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky. Services will be officiated by Rev. Chris Johnson and Rev. Gary Harris.
