Delbert Davidson, age 73, passed away on November 15th, 2025, at The Landmark of Laurel Creek Nursing Home. Born on July 12th, 1952, in Oneida, Kentucky, Delbert was a cherished member of his community and beloved by his family and friends.
Delbert is survived by his devoted wife, Rita Feltner Davidson of Manchester, Ky; his children, Jason Earls (Dianna) of Manchester, Ky, and Vergie Simmons (Anthony) of Barbourville, Ky; grandchildren Courtney, Megan, and Caleb; and great-grandchildren Jacob, Kayleana, and Amari Lynne. He also leaves behind his special niece, Melany Thacker, and special nephew, John Howard, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, Millard Davidson and Louisa Lee Gibbons; siblings Harrison Frazier (Berta), Elmer (Lucy) Frazier, Dewey (Elly) Davidson, Alice (Tom) Lee, and Minta Howard; and his son, Brandon John.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 20th, 2025, at Britton Funeral Home, officiated by Samuel Judd and David Price. Delbert was laid to rest at Hounchell Bend Cemetery.
Delbert's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. His kindness, warmth, and love for his family will be remembered always.
