Bryson Kane Cottongim, age 19, of Manchester, Kentucky, was born on April 15, 2006, in Manchester, KY and passed away on March 3, 2026, in Harlan County, KY. He was the beloved son of Aaron and Melissa Tipton Cottongim, and a cherished brother to Braxton Cole Cottongim, all of Manchester.

Bryson was a young man whose spirit radiated warmth and kindness. Surrounded by a loving family, he was also blessed with the guidance, laughter, and wisdom of his grandparents, Michael and Ruby Carol Cottongim, and Lorene and Eddie Dean Tipton. Bryson’s life was further enriched by the love of his great-grandparents, Ada Mae Henson and Frances Wagers.

He shared a special bond with his “Unkie” Toby Hubbard, and his fishing buddies, Payton Howard and Robert Howard, who joined him in countless adventures and peaceful moments by the water. Bryson’s closest friends—Hunter Jackson, Jaiden Begley, Brody Bishop, Sammy Jones, and Auston Gilliam—were more than companions; they were family, sharing in every joy and sorrow together.

Bryson’s heart carried the memory of his best friend, Cashton Warren, who preceded him in death. Though the pain of loss is profound, the love and laughter they shared will forever echo in the lives of those who knew them both.

Loved by many, Bryson leaves behind a legacy of compassion and friendship. His life touched all those who knew him, and his absence will be felt deeply by family, friends, and the community.

The service to celebrate Bryson’s life will be held at 2 PM on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Britton Funeral Home, with Ronnie Brown and Ronnie Smith officiating. Visitation will take place at 6 PM on Sunday, March 8, 2026, also at Britton Funeral Home. Bryson will be laid to rest at Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Though Bryson’s time with us was brief, the love he shared and the memories he made will forever be treasured. His gentle soul and radiant smile will remain in our hearts always.
