Brenda Smallwood, age 62, of London, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born October 25, 1963, in Manchester, Kentucky.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Ricky Smallwood of London, Kentucky; her daughter, Brittany (Crystal) Burke of Corbin, Kentucky; her father, Henry Hazel of Manchester, Kentucky; two sisters, Freddie Hacker and Mary “Fran” Culton, both of Manchester, Kentucky; and a host of family and friends who will mourn her passing and cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lena Carr Hazel of Manchester, Kentucky, and her brother, Hershel “Josh” Hazel.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Britton Funeral Home, with Ronnie Smith officiating.
