Bonnie Lee Allen, of London, Kentucky, was born on May 12, 1940, in Manchester, Kentucky. She was the beloved daughter of the late Royd Smith and Amanda Lipps Smith. Bonnie was united in marriage to her devoted husband, Freddie Allen, who preceded her in death.

She leaves behind two loving children, William Allen and wife Sonjia, and Cindy Storm and husband Curtis, all of London; four cherished grandchildren, Zach Allen and wife Kara, Blaine Storm, Branson Storm and wife Kennedi, and Bailee Storm; and three precious great-grandchildren, Haven Allen, Brady Storm, and Beau Storm. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Dugger of London, along with a host of other family members and dear friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Smith; two sisters-in-law, Doris Allen and Carolyn Smith; and a brother-in-law, Eddie Dugger.

Bonnie retired after dedicating ten years of faithful service as a custodian with the Laurel County School System. She was a woman of strong faith who loved the Lord deeply. She was first a member of Swiss Colony Baptist Church and later became a devoted member of New Salem Baptist Church.

Bonnie found great joy in being outdoors, especially tending to her landscaping and flowers, which she kept immaculate and beautiful. A true people person, she cherished time spent with those she loved most. Her family meant everything to her, and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were truly her world. Bonnie devoted much of her life to caring for others, always putting the needs of her loved ones before her own.

Bonnie Lee Allen went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the age of 85 years, 7 months, and 5 days.

The funeral service of Bonnie Lee Allen will be conducted 1 pm Saturday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Ronald Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Swiss Colony Cemetery in London.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon Saturday until the funeral hour of 1 pm at Bowling Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Zach Allen, Blaine Storm, Branson Storm, Curtis Storm, Keith Smith and Dale Wilson.
