Beverly “Buffy” Ruth Lewis was born on March, 28th 1972 in Whitley County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Richard Vollmer and Nellie McCoy. “Buffy” departed this life in the peace of her home on October 14th, 2025.
She is survived by husband Stevie S. Lewis; 4 children Robert Dalton Franklin Murray, Nellesha Alice Logan and spouse Tiffany Logan, Phillip Tyler Lewis and spouse Kenzie Lewis, Michael Ethan Lewis and spouse Lydia Lewis. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Mason Murray, Jaxon Murray, Karson Murray, Harper Bivins, Cypress Logan, Lillith Lewis, Elijah Lewis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
“Buffy” was preceded in death by Nellie McCoy, Asa McCoy, Richard Vollmer, and Aristotle Lewis.
“Buffy” was a loving wife and loved spending time with her family, especially spending quality time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed all of her animals and pets. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors with her family and friends. “Buffy” was a member of the Upper Room Revival Center and of the Pentecostal Faith.
Visitation for Buffy will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 17th, at Britton Funeral Home.
Services for Buffy will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 17th, at Britton Funeral Home, with Mark Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis Wagers Cemetery on Billy's Branch.
