49th District Tourney pairing set; OBI host school

(MANCHESTER, Ky.) – It’s tournament time! The most exciting time in the mountains is upon us. The field is set for the 49th District Tournament hosted by Oneida Baptist Institute. With talent in each school, this is expected to be yet another great 49th District Tournament.

On the girls side, North Laurel (1 seed) is set to face OBI (4 seed) Monday, February 26th at 6:00PM. Following that contest, Jackson County (2 seed) is set to meet Clay County (3 seed) at 7:30PM.

On the boys side, Clay County (1 seed) has the first round bye, set to compete against the winner of Red Bird (5 seed) and OBI (4 seed) on February 27th, at 7:00PM. North Laurel (2 seed) is set to square off with Jackson County (3 seed) on February 28th, at 7:00PM.
