Officer involved shooting in Laurel County

The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 11 has been requested by the London Police Department (LPD) and the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred on Feb. 4 at approximately 4:30 p.m. EST on Brannon Mill Road near the Lily community of Laurel County. At the request of LPD and LCSO, KSP Post 11 Troopers and Detectives responded to the scene and have begun investigating the incident.

A male subject was transported from the scene to UK Hospital for treatment of injuries. No officers were injured during this incident.
