Clarence Riley Sumpter Sr.

Clarence Riley Sumpter Sr. age 50, of Manchester, KY passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024.

He leaves behind his fiancé, Kim Schultz; one son, (CJ) Clarence Sumpter II & Alishia of Cynthiana, KY; three stepchildren, Devlin Schultz, Katie King, Andrew Schultz all of Manchester, KY; one granddaughter, Zayliee Sumpter; one step-grandson, Maddox King; seven beloved dogs, Piper, Charlie, Sugar, Belle, Pumpkin, Roxy, Ruby; plus, a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Clarence was all around family guy who loved his children and grandchildren very much. He enjoyed the outdoors and anything that involved getting muddy and dirty. Clarence had a true gift for art and was an amazing artist. He adored all seven of his dogs and treated them as though they were his children. He will truly be missed by all who loved and knew him. The world will not be the same.

A memorial service for Clarence Riley Sumpter Sr. will be held at a later date determined by the family. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
