Regional salt dome nearing completion

If you've been wondering what they're building at the Elk Mountain Regional Industrial Park, we have the answer!

The Department of Transportation is nearing completion of their new regional salt dome that will serve all eight counties of District 11 and other governmental agencies that have interagency agreements with the transportation cabinet.

The dome will serve as a central location to store road salt and should be operational in the coming days.
