William Smallwood

William Smallwood age 67 of Hamilton passed away Thursday November 16, 2023 in his home. He was born February 21, 1956 in Oneida, Kentucky the son of the late Elmer Smallwood and Margaret (Priestes) Smallwood. Mr. Smallwood was a 1974 graduate of Badin High School and was a member of St. Peter in Chains Church. He was a 40 year member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and his special friends there were Jack Hart and Jim Frederick. Mr. Smallwood took over as third generation of the family Septic Tank and Excavating business in 1974. He ran Smallwood Excavating for 32 years. He was a baseball coach for 9 years and sponsored teams in Hanover Township. Bill received many miracles during his lifetime which acquired him the nickname Lazarus. He was well liked in the community for his relationship with Jesus Christ. He will be forever missed. He is survived by his devoted wife Golda Smallwood; beloved father of the late Billy Smallwood, Michael James (Natasha) Smallwood, and Andrea (Kyle) Moyer; grandfather of Tyler Smallwood, Alexis (Jacob) Wiesner, Claire Smallwood, Cortlin Barrett, Corvaughn Renfro, Kandyce (Taylor) Nicklin, Jake (Christa) Dankert, Eric Dankert, Elizabeth Smallwood, Parker Moyer, and Raylee Moyer; great grandfather of Samson; and brother of Kenneth (Teresa) Smallwood and Pam (Guy) Hapner. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Monday November 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM with Pastor Jim Mullins, officiating. Burial to follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery.
