Sidney Sams

Sidney Sams, age 68 departed this life on Thursday, November 16, 2023. He was born on Friday, April 15, 1955 in Hyden, Kentucky to George and Elizabeth (Baker) Sams.

He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Jeffrey Sams and wife Terri,

Joe Sams (Angie) and Cheyene Sams as well as his grandchildren: Michael Sams and wife Andrea, Rachel Mazurek (Austin), Katie Sams and Jaxson Sams. Also surviving are his brothers: Marvin Sams, Norman Sams (Debbie), Carlo Sams (Dorothy) and Elbert Sams (Darlene).

He is preceded in death by his parents: George and Elizabeth Baker Sams, his wife: Anna, the mother of his 2 sons: Starlene Jones, his granddaughter: Christy Sams, his brother: Lawrence Sams, his sisters: Gwendolyn Sams and Nancy Minton and his sister-in-law: Opal Sams.

Funeral Services for Sidney Sams will be conducted on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 2 PM at the Annville Baptist Church. Rev. David Wilson and Rev. Roger Williams will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Sunday evening from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Annville Baptist Church in Annville, Kentucky.
