Wednesday, November 15-16: 4-H Pumpkin Pie Contest Do you love cooking? Participate in our 4-H Pumpkin Pie Contest! Choose your very own pumpkin pie recipe and enter your pie at the Clay County Extension Office November 15th-16th (8-4pm). Pies will be judged on taste, texture, smell, appearance, etc. The contest is open to kids 9-18. The winner will receive a basket of kitchen/cooking supplies!!

Thursday, November 16th

-Manchester Maker’s Market 5-8 p.m. at the Clay County Community Center next to Ramsey Ballpark.

Saturday, November 18th-

Pins & Needles Homemaker Club meets the 3rd Saturday of every month at 10 AM at the EXCEL building beside McDonalds. This club always welcomes new members! Bring your materials and join them with your sewing projects. Don’t know how to sew, no problem...they will teach you! If you’re not already a homemaker member, dues are $12 annually. Tuesday, November 21st-

4-H Art Club will meet on November 21st at 4:00 pm at the Clay County Extension Office. If you love being creative, join us for a different art project each month. FREE & open to all youth ages 9-18. You must call 598-2789 to register.

Lighting the Way In Clay 3-5pm at Rawlings-Stinson Park with children’s activities, Pictures with Santa and Grinch, Face painting, Inflatables and other activities will be announced, 5:30 Reading of Christmas story, Christmas carolers, Lighting of the Christmas tree, 6:00 Walk through Bethlehem Food Trucks: Tasty Blessings Lorie Jimenez; Triple T’s Jason Smith

-5th Annual Christmas in Clay Holiday Market from 1-5 p.m. at the Clay Community Center. Will feature handmade artisan crafts, baked goods, hot cocoa bar, gift wrapping, 606 Kitchen Food Truck, and Santa will be appearing from 2-4 p.m.

Monday, November 27th-

4-H Cooking Club will meet on November 27th at 4:00 pm at the Clay County Extension Office. Join us as we make a delicious recipe! FREE & open to youth ages 9-18. Please call 598-2789 to reserve your spot.

Thursday, November 30th

-The annual reading of The Polar Express with hot cocoa, chocolate bars and silver bells beginning at 6 p.m. at the office of County Attorney Joe White.

-Turf Grass Commercial Applicator Training

Turf Grass Commercial Applicator Training will be on November 30th from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Laurel County Extension Office. Check out our Facebook page or website at a later date for more upcoming information about this event. 4 CEU’s available!

-Importance of Pollinators

The Importance of Pollinators will be on November 30th at 6 pm at the Clay County Extension Office. This month’s topic is Protecting Pollinators. We will have a potluck meal, so bring your favorite dish. Please call 598-2789 to register.

-Piggy Bank Contest

The Piggy Bank Contest is a creative way for youth to learn about the importance of saving money by creating their very own piggy bank! This opportunity is open to K-12 grades. Piggy banks will be judged locally, and then they will move on to the area and state competition! Drop off at the Clay County Extension Office between November 1-30th.

Tuesday, December 5th

-Humbug! A Christmas Carole, presented by the CCHS Tiger Troupe Dec. 5-9 at Church of God at 7 p.m. each night. Admission is $10.

Saturday, December 9th

-Downtown Christmas Parade. More details to come.

-Farmers Market Holiday Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Excel Building beside McDonald’s. Lots of goodies will be available. To reserve a booth call Clara Smith at 594-5869.

Tuesday, December 12th

- Christmas in Clay sponsored by the CCHS Choir. For $20 you will receive a Christmas Dinner served in the CCHS cafeteria followed by a concert in the gym by the CCHS Choir.

Thursday, December 21st
