Clay imposes burn ban

As forest fires ravage eastern Kentucky, County Judge-Executive Tommy Harmon has imposed a burn ban for Clay County.

The current dry conditions creates the possibility of considerable hardship and puts public health, safety and welfare at risk for the citizens of Clay County.

The ban will be in effect until further notice.
