Mountain Comp. Care Center holds ribbon cutting

Mountain Comprehensive Care Center, located at U.S. 421 at Garrard, held their grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony Friday.

The Manchester/Clay County Chamber of Commerce coordinated the event under the direction of Danielle Collins.

Dr. James Davis served as Master of Ceremonies and commended the need and work done by MCC.

"This is a benefit to our community," Dr. Davis said. "The work these people do here is vital for the recovery of those suffering addiction."

Also speaking was Mayor Steve Collins.

"We welcome Mountain Comprehensive Care Center to our community and I appreciate them for seeing a need in Manchester/Clay County," Collins said.
