Manhunt Underway in Tennessee Quadruple Murder Case
August 01, 2025
Authorities are searching for Austin Robert Drummond, 28, who is wanted in connection with the deaths of four individuals discovered this week in northwest Tennessee. Drummond faces charges of first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, and firearms offenses, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI).
The victims, identified as Matthew Wilson, 21; Adrianna Williams, 20; Courtney Rose, 38; and Braydon Williams, 15, were found deceased in a wooded area in Lake County near Tiptonville. They were relatives of an infant discovered abandoned in a front yard in neighboring Dyer County earlier the same day. The child, reportedly found in a car seat, is alive and currently under medical evaluation.
Authorities have not yet disclosed how the victims died or established a clear motive for the killings. Drummond was added to Tennessee’s "most wanted" list and is considered armed and dangerous. Investigators believe he may be driving a 2016 Audi A3. A reward of $15,000 is offered for information leading to his capture.
A relative of the victims, identifying herself as the sister-in-law and aunt of three of those killed, expressed shock and heartbreak on Facebook.
“We all trusted him. Yes, he was close to our family. We cared about him and thought he cared about us,” she wrote. “We never expected him to cause any harm to anyone, much less our family. We are heartbroken, confused, devastated, and mortified. Our kids are hurting. We want justice for our family."
Public records indicate Drummond has a previous criminal history, including a conviction for armed robbery in 2014 and pending charges from a November 2023 attempted murder and drug-related case. He was out on bond at the time of the recent homicides.
Anyone with information regarding Drummond’s whereabouts is urged to contact authorities immediately.
A healthy Clay County requires great community news.
