July 17, 2025

MANCHESTER, Ky. — A Manchester man was arrested Wednesday night following a disturbance at Flowers Bakery that led to a brief foot pursuit and struggle with police.
According to the Manchester Police Department, Officer Austin Cloyd responded to a call around 9:20 p.m. on July 16 regarding a man who was reportedly refusing to leave the bakery.
Upon arrival, Officer Cloyd encountered 42-year-old Dana Allen Fuller. Police say Fuller attempted to flee on foot, prompting a short chase. A brief altercation ensued before Officer Cloyd was able to subdue and arrest Fuller.
Authorities later determined that Fuller was under the influence of a controlled substance at the time of the incident.
Fuller is facing multiple charges, including first-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), resisting arrest, and public intoxication involving a controlled substance (excluding alcohol). He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
A healthy Clay County requires great community news.
