Clay County Schools to Host Kinder Camp for Incoming Kindergarten Students

MANCHESTER, Ky. — Clay County Public Schools, in partnership with Partners for Rural Impact and Full Service Community Schools, will host Kinder Camp this summer for children entering kindergarten in the 2025–2026 school year.
The event is scheduled for July 21–25, running daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and aims to provide students with a fun and enriching introduction to school life.
Kinder Camp is designed to ease the transition into kindergarten by offering young learners the chance to become familiar with their school, meet teachers, make new friends, and participate in engaging learning activities. Students will also be provided meals during the camp.
Organizers say the goal is to help children feel confident and prepared as they begin their educational journey. “It’s an opportunity to build excitement about learning in a safe and supportive environment,” said one local coordinator.
