Isom Dawayne Ross

Isom Dawayne Ross, age 42 went to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at the St. Joesph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Wednesday, November 24, 1982 in Manchester, Kentucky to Forest Ross, Jr. (Bubba) and Ollie Canter Ross. He was a member of the Pentecostals of Manchester.

He leaves to mourn his passing his mother: Ollie Ross, his brothers: Jimmy Ross and Tony Ross, his sister: Lillie Ross and her boyfriend: James Jarvis and his bonus sister: Jacqueline Wilson. Also surviving are his uncles: Jimmy Curry and his wife Charlotte and Johnny Canter, his special cousins: Crystal Root, Demarcus Philpot, Kiearah Goolsby, Jadelynn Curry Baird, Addy Collett, Lyla Bowling, Tasha Dezarn, Scotty Jewell and wife Agnes, his special nephew: Colten House and a very special friend who he considered his brother: Wesley Rominger.

He is preceded in death by his father: Forest Ross, Jr. (Bubba), his aunt: Joy Ann Curry, his uncle: Clarence Hollin, his special cousins: Johnny Lynn Curry, Lucas Curry and Frankie Lynn Curry as well as his grandparents: Clayton and Sally Canter, Forest Ross, Sr. and Esther Curry.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Rominger Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Isom Ross will be conducted on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Scotty Jewell, Rev. James Wagers and Rev. Wes Fugate will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
