Linda Jo Hanley of Manchester, Kentucky passed away on March 6, 2025, born December 22, 1943 to Naomia Blair and Bradley Combs. Raised in Manchester, Kentucky with a lot of other relatives in Hazard, Kentucky followed by settling in Lexington, Kentucky, where she was known for her voice in singing in different venues especially Gospel Music, she sung with on of the first female groups in Lexington, Kentucky called the Spiritualetts her being one of the original and another female group the Voices of Harmony followed by a lot of solo events at various churches and events.
she is preceded in death by her parents, son, Clerance D. Wallace, husband, Michael Hanley, granddaughter, Lawayna Long, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and very special friends.
She is survived by her children alongside their children, Margaret Cooper( Rosemary and Nicholas Cooper), Tracy Wilson, ( Michael D. Wilson) Michael L. Wilson, Sharelle Hill(Kayla and Caden Long). She is also survived by an aunt Betsy Jones of Chicage, IL and uncle, Alonzo Wallace of Dayton, Ohio. On her fathers side, Bradley Combs, and is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, She is survived by a sister, Bobbi Jo McDowells and a brother, Anthony Combs. She is also survived by a host of cousins, great cousins and very special friends.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Star of Bethelhem Baptized Pentecostal Church of Holiness, Bishop Raymond Ross, Pastor. Visitation 10:00-11:00 am. Funeral at 11:00 am. Burial at Clark Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky following services. Fender Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
